Meet Shelley Crane, a beacon of hope and a seasoned expert in the realm of healing and well-being. With over two decades of experience, Shelley's journey began in 2001 as a bodyworker and massage therapist and evolved into a trauma informed registered yoga teacher in 2020 and trauma informed somatic trauma recovery practitioner in 2021. Several thousands of hours of training later, her unwavering commitment to growth and enlightenment continue to be the hallmark of her career.

Shelley's passion and expertise shine brightest in the specialized fields of trauma-informed oncology massage therapy, embodiment practices, somatic bodywork and long-term wellness packages. Her deep understanding of trauma, inspired by the polyvagal theory and the seven steps of The Shipp Methodâ„¢, infuse her work with a unique and compassionate dimension for helping cancer patients on their healing journey.

An unexpected twist in Shelley's life journey occurred in 2021. Her younger sister became suddenly ill that year in September and in October, just 7 short weeks later, passed away from Grade 3 metastatic endometrial cancer. Shelley advocated for diagnostic ultrasounds, despite having no symptoms to warrant them. No one really knows how traumatizing it can be to hear these three words, "You have cancer". until you experience them yourself. She heard those words in December of 2021 when she was diagnosed with Grade 2 endometrial cancer. Early detection allowed her to be triumphant without needing chemo or radiation. Her sister's passing literally saved her life, yet left her with survivors guilt, which has ignited her profound sense of purpose.

Today, she is dedicated to serving oncology patients and their families, offering tailored wellness programs that span the spectrum of complementary cancer care, from treatment to end-of-life support. Healing from cancer is not just physical, yet in the majority of conventional cancer treatments all of the attention is on the physical. There is a need for more mental and emotional support than what people recognize. The physical is just one aspect of the mind, body, spirit emotion and we need harmony in all of those areas.

Beyond oncology-focused care, Shelley's expertise extends to working with people who include regular, consistent massage into their self-care for mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Twelve years of living in the caribbean and providing massages near the ocean have allowed her to master the art of relaxation. Her wellness massages use a variety of techniques learned throughout the years to provide both a therapeutic and deeply relaxing session. Drawing on her original training of intuitive touch, over two decades ago, her touch remains intuitive, ensuring each session is a uniquely tailored experience. Clients leave with a newfound sense of feeling more radiant, restored, renewed, revitalized, and ready to embrace both the beauty and the complexities of life.

Shelley Crane's mission is clear: to facilitate holistic healing, offering solace and relief to those seeking regular wellness massages and also those facing life's toughest trials. Her personal journey has solidified her commitment to compassionate and effective care, making her a trusted ally on the path to wellness and recovery.
